BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. GAUEKOAK. KUKAI DANTZA.

Gauekoak is the last part of the trilogy Behind Closed Doors, which began last June with the premiere of two choreographic-visual pieces resulting from the reflection generated during the period of confinement due to the Covid-1. Gauekoak reflects the creative confinement of an artist during his process of reflection and experimentation.

Taking the night and an everyday space as habitat, dancer Jon Maya and musicians Xabi Bandini and Arkaitz Miner face the confinement of the creator. They will perform live a piece that counts Israel Galván, Cesc Gelabert and Sharon Fridman as guest choreographers.

This activity, which will take place in the theater, represents the entrance to a phase where we will meet again in the scenic spaces. Apuerta cerrada thus leads us, through its different formats, towards a new normality that marks the live encounter between audience and creators.
