In this masterclass, artistic curator Gabriel Pérez-Barreiro and academic curator Nathaniel Barrett will share the keys to Live and Direct: Color, Perception, and Experience, an exhibition that explores the nature of color and its relationship to our perception and aesthetic experience.
Drawing on the research of Josef Albers and the connections between art, science, and philosophy, the curators will explore the exhibition’s key concepts and discuss how color—far from being a static attribute—changes depending on the environment and our own perceptual experience. This event offers a firsthand look at the curatorial project and an opportunity to discover the works that invite us to experience the changing properties of color.
