Masterclass Ignacio Miguéliz ValcarlosWednesday, October 6, 2021, 19:00h. He holds a degree in Geography and History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1996) and a PhD in Philosophy and Letters from the Universidad de Navarra (2004). Since 2006, he has been working as Head of Exhibitions and Collection as well as Curator of Museo Universidad de Navarra. His deep knowledge of the Museo Universidad de Navarra Collection is reflected in the curatorial work of this new exhibition, which will show unpublished pieces and others already known with a new discourse. |

Masterclass Cristina de MiddelThursday, 14 October 2021, 19:00h. Cristina de Middel is a Spanish documentary photographer and artist who lives and works between Brazil, Mexico and Spain. Since 2016 she is part of the Magnum Agency, she is National Photography Award 2017 and has worked as a photojournalist for different Spanish newspapers and NGO's. With more than 12 books published, Cristina De Middel has been awarded and finalist in numerous competitions such as the PhotoFolio Arles 2012, the Deutsche Börse Prize and the Infinity Award from the International Center of Photography in New York. |

Masterclass Manolo LaguilloWednesday, 27 October 2021, 19h. Manolo Laguillo has a degree in philosophy and Germanic philology and a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, where he has been professor of photography since 1996. Between 1986 and 1992 he was a visiting professor of photography at the School of Fine Arts in Braunschweig, Germany. He has translated Walter Benjamin, Franz Hessel and Siegfried Kracauer into Spanish. His work can be found at the Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña, the Virreina Centro de la Imagen, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona and the Museo Reina Sofía. He has held several exhibitions and training workshops, has curated several photography exhibitions and has published several books. |

Three of the ten artists participating in the Entorno Encuentro Exploración exhibition will share their experience with the curators and the public and will reflect on the concepts of freedom, nature and the city, in a meeting prior to the opening of the exhibition halls. The colloquium will be moderated by Marian Moreno, member of the Alumni group of the Master in Curatorial Studies who has curated the proposal. |
