NUMBER OF PIECES IN THE COLLECTION
Every year, the Museum makes an important effort to digitize and catalogue the pieces in its collection.
The number of pieces inventoried and not catalogued to date amounts to 163,000. This number is indicative, since only a count has been made of the pieces awaiting cataloging. These pieces are mostly negatives and secondary materials in the field of photography. This inventory belongs to the negatives of Juan Dolcet and Rafael Sanz Lobato and the secondary material corresponds to the Ortiz Echagüe collection. There is a cataloguing plan that is currently being worked on.
The numerical situation of catalogued and deposited pieces by type of work is shown below:

1. In rooms: according to the exhibition plan.
2. Comb warehouse with capacity for 380 pieces.
3. Compact storage: it houses all the photographs and drawings of the collection that have not been exhibited or in combs. This warehouse includes the cold chamber where all the negatives are stored.
