International Museum Day 2024
Museums for education and research
This year, International Museum Day is celebrated around the theme of education and research. This is intended to highlight the importance of museums as dynamic educational institutions that foster learning, discovery and cultural understanding.
The MUN joins the DIM 2024 with the following activities:
Thursday 16 - Sunday 19
Free guided tours
Free admission to visit the MUN exhibitions.
Guided tours(no previous registration required)
- Thursday 16th: at 6pm,
- friday 17th: at 6 p.m., friday 17th: at 6 p.m., friday 17th: at 6 p.m,
- Saturday 18: at 12 noon and 6 p.m.,
- Sunday 19: at 12 noon.
Saturday 18, 10.30 am to 1 pm.
Children's workshop "Investigating color".
In collaboration with the Science Museum, the MUN proposes this workshop for children between 5 and 12 years old, based on the investigation of color. Registration costs 6 euros.

Academic day
Through brief presentations, the projects of teachers and researchers, completed or in progress, from faculties and centers of the University in collaboration with professionals or resources of the MUN will be presented.
In addition to academic research, artistic research works will be presented, such as the artistic residencies project, and Cuadernos de Creación, a collection that collects the process of creating choreographic works. Tender Puentesand Cuadernos de Creación, a collection that gathers the process of creation of choreographic works.
