OSKAR ALEGRIA
(Pamplona, 1973) Artistic director of the Punto de Vista International Film Festival from 2013 to 2016 in Pamplona-Navarra. His debut feature Emak Bakia baita (2012, about the search for the house on the Basque coast where Man Ray shot his film Emak Bakia) was screened at BAFICI, Edinburgh, Telluride, San Sebastian, Shanghai, Yamagata, DocLisboa, San Francisco and Denver International Film Festivals, was translated into 16 languages and won 17 awards. His second feature film Zumiriki (2019, the story of an island submerged in the river of his childhood) premiered at Orizzonti Mostra de Venezia and won Best Non-Fiction Film at the Seville European Film Festival.
