THREE, TRIADIC BALLET

The choreographers of the company Taiat Dansa, Meritxell Barberá & Inma García, face with this work the desire to explore the possibilities and the visual, aesthetic, spatial and performative revolution of the triadic Ballet of Oskar Schlemmer, the great master of the Bauhaus.

The idea is to propose a new contemporary vision of this emblematic piece for the history of art, which was crucial for the visual arts but had very little influence on the history of dance, choreography and movement arts.

Three dancers, three choreographers and three scenic sequences. Form, color, space. The three dimensions of space: height, width and depth. The basic shapes: sphere, cube and pyramid. Three colors: yellow, pink and black. Dance, costumes and music. All these are the ingredients of TRES, De Ballet Triádico, by Taiat Dansa.

The piece, faithful to the length of the original ballet, lasts approximately 30 minutes and is performed in a space that the company has designed to contain and recreate its version of the Triadic Ballet.
