A discussion with Lazkano, followed by a screening of an excerpt from the film created by the artist as part of his project *Natura fugit*, which can be viewed at the Museo Universidad de Navarra.
"Natura fugit " prompts reflection on climate change, its effects on the landscape, and the role of human activity in this change.
Taking a specific location—the Mer de Glace glacier in Chamonix (Alps)—as the focus of his analysis, Lazkano uses his pastel drawings to illustrate how the ice level at this site has receded since the late 19th century.
Using a stop-motion technique, he layers new drawings over the existing ones and takes photographs of every small change he makes. By putting these images together, he creates a 22-minute film that clearly reveals the effects of climate change on the landscape.
