"Asómate a la Danza" complements the artistic and choreographic works presented in " Museo en Danza." In each session, a dance expert provides the audience with insights that help place the choreographer within the context of their discipline and the performance within the framework of the artist’s creative process.

On this occasion, Pedro Ordónez (Full Professor at the University of Granada and Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Flamenco Research and Analysis) will discuss Paula Comitre and her latest work, “Après vous, madame.”

PEDRO ORDÓNEZ

He holds a European Doctorate in History and Musicology from the University of Granada, a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Seville, and a teaching certificate in guitar from the Seville Conservatory of Music. His work as a musicologist has focused, initially, on the study of the relationship between music, poetry, and contemporary visual arts, and, more recently, on processes of creative hybridization—from flamenco to the latest artistic trends—and arts and music education. In 2011, he received the Musicological Studies Award from the Spanish Society of Musicology. He is currently a professor in the Department of History and Musicology at the University of Granada, Director of the Music Department at La Madraza—the Center for Contemporary Culture at the University of Granada—Director of the Libargo Investiga Collection and Comares Música, as well as a flamenco accompanist.
