For two decades, Txema Salvans (Barcelona, 1971) has been developing his work with a documentary and artistic approach outside the usual circuits of photojournalism, also approaching the photographic essay. Joan Fontcuberta has described his work as a "balance between critical thinking and a poetic sense of humor". In recent years he has embarked on larger-format artistic projects through which he invites us to reflect, as in the exhibition that will open next in the Torre del Museo hall. 

A session in which to learn the keys that will allow you to enjoy the artist's exhibition in greater depth. 

A chronicler of contemporary Spain, Salvans' projects are consolidated, above all, in the book format. His first book Nice To Meet You (ACTAR, 2005) received the PHotoEspaña 2005 award for best photobook.The Waiting Game (RM, 2013) was awarded Best Ibero-American Photobook (2012). In 2018 he published My Kingdom (MACK, 2018) and also the second part of The Waiting Game (RM, 2018). Perfect Day (MACK, 2020) is the latest project published in full pandemic. Txema Salvans' work has been published by major international media and has been exhibited in numerous festivals and museums.
