Quico Cadaval submits to a conversation with someone. The conversation time is divided between Cadaval and the client, using a rigorous chess clock. The conversation can be seen but not heard by the casual audience passing by. Cadaval guarantees secrecy about the subject or content of the conversation and clients are free to disseminate or distort it.

The performance "Conversatório" evidences the lack and the irremediably hierarchical character of any conversation, it is a micro-drama producing machine and allows to identify the differences between colloquy, interrogation, confession, sermon, revelation and other forms of speech between two.

"Conversatório, medidas variables" is a work by Quico Cadaval that was exhibited for the first time in June 2008 at the presentation of the album Eclectica Ensemble in the surroundings of the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea de Santiago de Compostela. At 5 meters from the window of the CGAC's cafeteria.
