SYNOPSIS

Suakai & Carlos Rodríguez is a stage production featuring contemporary Spanish music and dance that combines two creative worlds into a single artistic language. In this production, Suakai’s music and Carlos Rodríguez’s choreographic universe interact on equal footing to tell the story of a person who lives in the constant thrill of pursuing their dreams.

Someone eagerly embarks on the adventure of fighting for an idea. A person driven by the need to explore and create, guided by a thirst for life. That person is you. And it’s me. That’s the starting point for this new show.

This time, Suakai merges with contemporary Spanish dance through Carlos Rodríguez—founder of the Nuevo Ballet Español alongside Ángel Rojas—and his company, the Carlos Rodríguez Ballet Flamenco Company. This collaboration intensifies the emotion and theatrical power of the performance, taking the Suakai experience to a new level of energy and presence.

Musically inspired by the soundscape of Natura, winner of the 2024 Dolby Innovators Award, this new show explores the fusion of two worlds: the essence of classical music and tradition with cutting-edge technology. Its immersive sound design in Dolby Atmos and the rich timbre created specifically for this occasion bring to life a unique, enveloping audio experience.

Suakai

Suakai is a collective that brings together people who share the same way of experiencing and respecting music: honoring its past, looking toward the future, and always placing it at the center. We call this approach “Neomúsica.” To bring each project to life, the collective includes more than 100 musicians and a large technical and audiovisual team, all united by a shared passion: designing musical experiences that evoke emotion, foster connection, and evoke memories. They also explore new paths where classical music and tradition merge with cutting-edge technology.
