Covers. Nou Ensemble

Starting from the premise of reviewing/reinterpreting our musical history, both classical and popular, Nou Ensemble proposes a journey through works/songs of the universal repertoire through the eyes of six current composers of contrasting styles and aesthetics.

Prices: 16€ and 14€.

Literally, the Anglo-Saxon term cover means 'cover', 'cover', 'cover'. During the second half of the 20th century, it came to be used to refer to those versions of songs previously recorded by other musicians.

Nou Ensemble in this proposal presents works by Alberto Bernal on Billie Holiday; by Carolyn Cheng on Anton Bruckner; by Jessie Marino on Boyz II Men; by Germán Alonso on Nirvana. They will also perform a premiere by Román González on Deep Purple and a piece by Raquel García, on music of the aborigines of Oceania.
