The workshop, directed by Dani Pannullo, will offer an introduction to the basics and new movements of contemporary dance that will be given by Itsaso Álvarez Cano, as well as an introduction to the "foundation" of bboying or breakdancing that will be given by a local bboy dancer.
The workshop will close on Saturday, October 8, with a morning session open to the public, which will be a sample of the work done in the workshop and a discussion with the artists, where participants and the public can delve into the concrete experience of the company: travel, shows, anecdotes, ideals, future... All workshop attendees will participate in this session.
DANI PANNULLO DANCETHEATRE CO.
Dani Pannullo was born in Rio Negro in the Argentine Patagonia. Trained in dance and theater in Buenos Aires and after long periods of research in the USA and Japan, he settled in Spain, where he has been living for more than twenty years, and it is in Madrid where he has developed his entire artistic career as a choreographer and stage director.
His inspiration has always been urban culture to which he incorporates other dance expressions that he has met in his travels around the world, such as Japanese butoh, Egyptian dervish or flamenco, among others.
His company, created in 1999 with dancers from the most varied disciplines, has produced during his periods of residence at the Centro de Nuevos Creadores de Madrid and at the Centro de Danza Canal about twenty shows with which he has participated in national and international festivals representing contemporary creation in Spain and abroad.
ITSASO ÁLVAREZ CANO
Graduated by the María de Ávila Higher Conservatory of DanceFrom 2000 to 2012, she worked as assistant choreographer and choreographer. principal dancer of Dani Pannullo DanceTheatre.co company..
From 2008 he began to mount his first solo pieces until in 2013, leading the collective Zuk Dance, he presented his first full-length work, ZUK, a piece awarded in the Contest of the Carlos III University of Madrid and the Young Creators Contest 2013.
Since 2013 she has embarked on projects of various kinds: she has performed as a dancer in Dani Pannullo's latest musical DanceTheatre.co, New York Story, choreographed the film Los mundos sutiles by Eduardo Chapero Jackson and directed with the collective Zuk Dance Halka, a piece with live music, dance and scenography in movement that premiered at the Valle Inclán hall of the RESAD in June 2014 and has been nominated at the MAX Awards 2015 for Best Choreography and Best Private Production.
After his last duo, BOX, winner of the Certamen Jóvenes Creadores de Madrid 2014 and selected for the Biennale Mediterranea de Milano 2015, Itsaso Álvarez is working on his new productions: K.O, Nudos and Vaca.
AVALANCHE

Avalanche takes us into a world of dance confrontations and speaks to us above all of the inexorable passage of time.
