Science and art come together, in this choreographic proposal, to artistically express principles of the nature of light.
Light, vitally present in our lives, has become a phenomenon that we have normalized. However, its very nature has opened paths in quantum physics and has made our idea of what we call reality expand and we contemplate that reality with another amplitude.
Black light is born from a process of research and creation around light and, in turn, shows how the tools of artistic creation can be a way of pedagogical transmission in the field of science.
While we can understand gravity from our physical experience, quantum concepts are further away from our understanding. This is where artistic expression can bridge the gap to bring us closer to these concepts from perception.
Since ancient times, ritual has been a way to connect with the environment and nature. In this proposal, dance, along with other artistic languages, takes on the role of ritual.
