THEATER
The film series Plano/Contraplano Adorables mentiras: la verdad resplandece en el cine engages in dialogue with Vik Muniz's exhibition Flora Industrialis.
The core of the Brazilian artist's photographs deals with time in its entirety, with photographs that generate life to what is dead, creating tension between the image and what is represented. It questions our approach to reality in a technified world accustomed to its representations. To expand the encounter with Muniz's photographs, this cycle presents two films that reflect how cinema constructs lies to arrive at a great truth.

DIRECTOR
ABBAS KIAROSTAMI
Abbas Kiarostami hybridizes the codes of fiction and documentary to carry out this experiment without a preconceived idea, shooting a film in which the process is part of the film. Under the impression of transparency, Kiarostami makes the spectator believe that what he sees is the spontaneous record of the facts, described as they happen and free of manipulation, so that it is precisely in this record of the real where the artifice of the cinematographic device emerges.
After the screening, conference with Pablo Echart, professor and lecturer at the University of Navarra.
