The artist will present for the first time in color his photographs of the Mennonites of Paraguay, a religious group that followed the 16th century Dutch reformer Mennon. Bergasa became interested in photography in the early seventies in Navarra and Madrid. In 1983 he began his travels to Latin America where he made several photographic reportages. His series of Mennonites portrays the austere way of life of this community, unchanged for 23 years, which dispenses with the comforts of the 21st century.
