"Asómate a la Danza" complements the artistic and choreographic works presented in " Museo en Danza." In each session, a dance expert provides the audience with insights that help place the choreographer within the context of their discipline and the performance within the framework of the artist’s creative process.

On this occasion, Mario de la Torre (Professor at the University of Granada and Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Research and Analysis of Flamenco) will talk about Ultimatum and the work of the Navarrese company Led Silhouette.

MARIO DE LA TORRE

He holds an international doctorate in Literary and Art Theory and Comparative Literature from the University of Granada, where he is a tenured professor. His research has focused primarily on the performing arts, with autofiction and transmediality as his main areas of study. In 2023, he won the Lorca Prize for best theater book of the year for *El teatro independiente: Teatro de las Marismas* (Independent Theater: Theater of the Marshes ). He has lectured at institutions such as the Collège de France and the universities of Heidelberg, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. As a filmmaker, he has been nominated twice for the Goya Awards (2009 for * Harraga* and 2018 for * La primavera rosa en México *). As a performer, he has danced in * Cuerpo último* with Luz Arcas, in * Officium Defunctorum * (FEX at the International Festival of Music and Dance), and in Maurice Béjart's * Boléro de Ravel * (Béjart Ballet Lausanne). Since 2023 she has directed the Performing Arts Area of ​​La Madraza - Centre for Contemporary Culture, where she coordinates the MZV residencies, among other projects.
