LETTRE D'AMOUR. PAU ARAN GIMENO
A Solo - duet that talks about desire, which is an appetite for what is absent.
Tickets: 16€ and 12€.
A piece that brings together on stage the dancer Pau Aran Gimeno and actress Consuelo Trujillo on texts by Peruvian poet César Moro with dramaturgy by Alberto Conejero.
My question is: how do I dance for, to and about someone who is absent, how does one dance what does not yet exist, how does one dance after having danced, what body dances when my body dances?
This Solo-duet is born of all those questions, of all those absences piled up in my body, of this not knowing now where, with whom, how. It is born from the presence of the absent. It is born of the vestiges of the road traveled and of the signs of the road to travel.
A dance solo is always a community of loners. Although I dance alone, with me are Consuelo Trujillo, Alberto Conejero, Domenico Angarano and, with us, next to us, César Moro.
César Moro who was an enigma,
César Moro who was lightning,
César Moro who was a crossroads,
César Moro who was desire.
