Rosa Fernández Urtasun

Rosa Fernández Urtasun is currently Professor of Literature at the University of Navarra, where she teaches Modern and Contemporary Literature. She has been Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and researcher at the Sorbonne, Eötvös Loránd (Budapest) and Strasbourg Universities.
He has three main lines of research, the first is the Spanish literature of the first half of the twentieth century. In this area, he has worked on modernist poetry and especially the 1920s, in figures such as Vicente Aleixandre, Ernestina de Champourcin and Jorge Guillén. Her second area of research is the contemporary rewriting of myth. He has analyzed postmodern works, especially science fiction, to analyze in them the emergence of classical myths and the development of contemporary myths.
Finally, he has also addressed the relationship between literature and art, participating in projects that study the relationship between contemporary artistic languages.
