Teresa Catalán, composer and disciple of the master, and Rafael Moneo, architect, friend and fellow generation, will talk about the figure of the Navarrese composer Agustín González Acilu, his contributions to contemporary music and his artistic and vital keys.

Born in Alsasua, Agustín González Acilu (1929-2023) was one of the most significant composers in contemporary music in our country. Belonging to the Generation of '51, at the time of his death he had become the last resistant of a generation and an era. He was an erudite, rigorous and multi-awarded composer whose history is not far from that of his contemporary colleagues (De Pablo, Halffter, Bernaola...). In 1998 he received for the second time the Premio Nacional de Música in recognition of a whole life dedicated to composition and the real significance of his production in the panorama of our time.
