The series 'The work chosen by...' seeks to create links between the Museum's collection and different audiences in Pamplona through recommendations from prominent figures from our immediate geographical area. Guests have the opportunity to get to know the collection in depth, choose a piece that interests them, and offer their personal interpretation.

On this occasion, Teresa Barrio has chosen Waiting Game III, 2021, by Txema Salvans.

Teresa Barrio Fernández has been a museum educator at the Museo Universidad de Navarra 2019. She holds a degree in Law and History (University of Navarra), a master's degree in Museum and Art Gallery Studies (University of Leicester), and a PhD in Arts and Humanities (University of Navarra). She has collaborated as an independent researcher and specialist in Museology with the International University of La Rioja and the Government of Navarra. She is currently a teaching collaborator in several faculties at the University of Navarra and a member of the VOICES (Voices of Innovation and Creativity in Education and Society) research group at the Faculty of Education and Psychology. Her areas of interest and publication are Museology, Art, and Education in museums.

From her perspective as a museum educator, Teresa Barrio Fernández invites us to explore photographer Txema Salvans' series The Waiting Game III, taking as her starting point one of the works in this series that forms part of the MUN Collection. She will contextualize this piece within the series as a whole and relate it to other series by the artist. From this perspective, she will establish free connections with other works in the MUN Collection, sharing her educational experience and addressing issues such as gender and respect and care for nature.
