la Caixa" Foundation Hall, exhibition Triple Concert by Fernando Pagola
Dance and visual arts are intertwined in the Museum's program in proposals and creations that invite us to reflect on the reality that surrounds us from different languages.
On this occasion, the proposal Triple Concert by the artist Fernando Pagola serves as a space and inspiration for the company Kukai Dantza, to propose a new artistic intervention.
This artistic intervention by Kukai Dantza is inspired by the relationship between the body and Pagola's work. The union of the human being in community through its ritual expression, social and continuous search are made movement through the proposal of Kukai Dantza.
The exhibition, which is adapted to the Sala "Fundación la Caixa" with monumental resonances, proposes to the spectator three visual movements that inspire and dialogue with the three dance movements proposed by Kukai Dantza.
The two artists, from their own codes and languages, address the viewer in a dialogue that does not leave him indifferent.
Three expressions for a triple concert.

KUKAI DANTZA
It was born and resides in Errenteria (Guipúzcoa-Basque Country) thanks to the initiative of the dancer Jon Maya Sein, in 2001.
The hallmark of this company is the contemporary creation from traditional dance. From there, it has cultivated its own language and, in its trajectory, has created numerous shows and successful collaborations as well as encounters with numerous artistic languages (theater, cinema, plastic arts, architecture, gastronomy...).
Its capacity to work in singular spaces and shows stands out: museums, natural spaces... Its relationship with the Museo Universidad de Navarra is long and fruitful and it has been the protagonist of several creation projects in dialogue with its exhibitions and architectural spaces. The company has also performed in theaters and festivals in more than twenty-five countries.
The company has received outstanding awards, including the 2017 National Dance Award, MAX AWARDS for the performing arts in 2009, 2015, 2017 and 2019, among many others.
In parallel to its artistic project, in its residence in Errenteria, Kukai Dantza develops a citizen participation project through projects with schools, collectives and young dancers.
