University of Navarra Choir

The university choir is an ideal setting for learning about and enjoying music through opera singing. Under the guidance of Ekhi Ocaña, students learn to control the color, timbre, and projection of their voices—among other techniques. The Museum also offers them the opportunity to participate in various concerts and outreach projects, such as “La zarzuela de los paraguas,” “Carmina Burana” (which was performed at the National Music Auditorium of the Community of Madrid), the operas “TOSCA” and “Falstaff,” and the MUN’s original musical theater production, “Algarabía.”

Students can earn 2 ECTS credits for participating in this activity. To do so, you must register for theArtistic Talent Program.

REHEARSALS
The dates for rehearsals and vocal technique classes during the academic year are: Wednesdays, 7:00–9:00 p.m. (Vocal technique classes—alternating weekly between male and female voices—with the vocal technique instructor) Thursdays, 7:30–9:00 p.m. (Rehearsals with the conductor)
