International Museum Day

The theme chosen this year to celebrate International Museum Day 2026 is “Museums Uniting a Divided World.” It highlights the potential of museums to serve as bridges across cultural, social, and geopolitical divides, fostering dialogue, understanding, inclusion, and peace within and among communities around the world.
To celebrate, the MUN:
- Watch the video" UnderstandingEach Other," featuring international and local students from the University of Navarra.

It will be open all day Monday, May 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with free admission, without interruption.

Two free guided tours are offered, at 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., both of which will conclude at the exhibition “Can a Painting Be My Friend?” where various participatory activities on the theme of peace will take place, using Picasso’s *Guernica* as a point of reference.

Two tickets to the London City Ballet performance on Thursday, May 21, will be raffled off among all visitors that day.
