The young dancer Javier Martín will perform in the exhibition halls of the Museum in dialogue with the work "The Black Forest", by artist Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle, consisting of two large carbonized wooden cubes. This dance solo is part of the articulation of a transversal and participative residency around the arts of movement.

With a scientific background and multiple conceptual interests, Javier Martín proposes his solo-improvisation and subsequent debate as a shared experience. In Control he develops the concept of transformation to create a solo. The Galician artist wants to "discover how this psychic energy is structured in the body; to find out how this energy remains immobile, potential, patterning and changing the location of the constant movement of homeostasis, its inherent kinetics or biodynamics".

"I was never interested in the movement of the body, what interests me is the movement of the soul. The body expresses itself as a consequence of the movement of the soul. Working the choreographies from the body is a superficial way of acting, and therefore wrong to talk about the truly important and immanent things", emphasizes the artist.
