Artists and curators Rebecca Mutell and Martí Llorens will share in this masterclass the keys to the exhibition Reazione nera.Cajal and the nervous impulse of photography.

Original drawings and microphotographs made by Ramón y Cajal are joined in the exhibition with pieces made by the curators from their archives and photographic collections, as well as from the scientist's work. His particular vision and approach to photography, the work of Santiago Ramón y Cajal and the simple histological procedure that shows the structure of neurons in three dimensions (Golgi's Reazione Nera ) are the three axes of the exhibition.

Mutell and Llorens are founding members of AtelieRetaguardia. Contemporary Heliography in Barcelona (2007-2012). Currently, they direct Factoría Heliográfica, dedicated to the research and artistic practice of photography. Their personal works have been exhibited and published in different institutions and galleries.
