RESEARCH GROUP: SIGLO DE ORO UNIVERSITY OF NAVARRA

The Siglo de Oro Research Group (GRISO), founded in 1990 by Ignacio Arellano, brings together 13 researchers from the University of Navarra itself and nearly 40 associate members from different universities and cultural institutions, both Spanish and foreign. Since the 1997-1998 academic year, it has been developing the Priority Research Line "Siglo de Oro" at the University of Navarra, which includes several multidisciplinary projects that have facilitated the creation of international research networks. Since its inception, GRISO has organized numerous international conferences (more than two hundred, in Europe, Africa, America and Asia), also promoting the publication of studies and critical editions (on Calderón, Quevedo, Tirso de Molina, Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Bances Candamo ...), book collections ("Autos sacramentales completos de Calderón", "Biblioteca Áurea Hispánica", "Biblioteca Indiana", "Publicaciones del Instituto de Estudios Indianos", "Anejos de La Perinola", "BIADIG-Biblioteca Áurea Digital", etc.) and scientific journals of recognized prestige and prestige.) and scientific journals of recognized international prestige (La Perinola. Revista de Investigación Quevediana and Anuario Calderoniano, both indexed in Thomson Reuters Web of Science / Arts and Humanities Citation Index and with the qualification of "Excellent" of the FECyT). CARLOS MATA is Associate Professor of the Department of Philology at the University of Navarra, Secretary General and researcher of the Research Group Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra and Secretary of the Institute of Aurisecular Studies (IDEA). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Asociación de Cervantistas, Correspondent in Spain of the Academia Boliviana de la Lengua. |
