How does one make theater in a country at war? How do Calderón and his verses on freedom and identity resonate with performers who must continue the rehearsal in a shelter when the anti-aircraft alarms sound?

The presentation at MUN of the Ukrainian version of Life is a Dream, performed in 2023, is an opportunity to reflect on the capacity of theater to generate spaces of freedom and hope in the midst of the always barbaric conditions of war.
