DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN WINES OF NAVARRA
One of the main characteristics that define the Navarra D.O. is the great diversity of landscapes and climates found in the more than 100 kilometers that separate the north of the area, located near Pamplona, from the south, nestled on the banks of the Ebro River.
In Navarre there is an exceptional situation, practically unique in the Iberian Peninsula: the confluence of the Atlantic, continental and Mediterranean climates. The proximity of the Bay of Biscay, the influence of the Pyrenees and the prosperity of the Ebro valley allow this varied climatology.
A circumstance that deeply marks the landscape of Navarre, where the more than 11,000 hectares of the Denomination of Origin are located in all types of ecosystems and cultivation situations: slopes, riverbanks, plateaus, plains, and which define 5 differentiated production areas: Baja Montaña, Valdizarbe, Tierra Estella, Ribera Alta and Ribera Baja.
In this context of permanent evolution and great dynamism, the Denomination of Origin has given new impetus to the search for quality. A quality understood from the consumer's point of view, where special emphasis is placed on tasting control so that the wines meet their expectations.
Thanks to all these natural and human conditions, DO Navarra wines offer a wide range of possibilities: from the famous rosé wines to the juicy young reds, from the delicious chardonnay whites to the great crianza and reserve reds, without forgetting the seductive sweet muscatel whites.
Wines for all occasions and all tastes, adapted to a consumer who seeks to experience new sensations or recall pleasant moments. A wine universe where everyone can find their own style.
