Symphony Orchestra of Navarra Founded in 1879 by Pablo Sarasate, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra (OSN) is the oldest active group in the Spanish orchestral panorama. In its almost one hundred and forty years of existence, it has performed in the main auditoriums, opera seasons and festivals both in Spain and abroad. Of special relevance has been its presence on several occasions at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées and the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, as well as the concert tour organized by the Universal Music label in major European auditoriums. As a reference interpreter of the composer and violinist Pablo Sarasate, his recording of the complete works of this composer from Navarre for Naxos with violinist Tianwa Yang has been unanimously praised by international critics. Also with this label, the OSN is carrying out a program of recordings with the Polish conductor Antoni Wit. Since the 2018-2019 season, its Principal Conductor and Artistic Director is Manuel Hernández Silva. |

Pamplona Chamber Choir Since its foundation in 1946, the Pamplona Chamber Choir has been linked to the composers of its time and this decision has marked it throughout its history. Many of the main authors of these seven decades have maintained and maintain a close relationship with the group, which has commissioned, premiered and / or disseminated numerous works that are part of the national musical heritage. For this reason and for its transcendental role as an introducer of the musical avant-garde in Navarre, it has received in 2018 the Prince of Viana Award for Culture, the most recent recognition granted to the Choir, after the Gold Medal for Merit in Work, the Commendation of the Order of Civil Merit and the Commendation of the Order of Alfonso X the Wise. Currently, the Choir is an institution with great national and international presence: Baluarte Auditorium Cycles, OSN, Festival des Abbayes, Festival de Musique Baroque du Jura, Festival de la Chaise-Dieu, Quincena Musical de San Sebastián, among many others... Recently he has performed with artists such as María Bayo, Nuria Rial, Simon Carrington, Mark Padmore, Leonardo García Alarcón or Manuel Hernández Silva. |
