Art and Technology Seminar
A conference on art and technology based on computer-generated image generation
45€
PRESENTATION
Computer image generation, also called 3D graphics or CGI, began to take its first steps in the 1940s with the first computers, but it was not until the 1970s when it began to take off and experienced an exponential evolution, mainly from the creation of Pixar.
Nowadays it is a daily occurrence and is applied transversally in all artistic disciplines, whether in animation, real image cinema, photography, video games, video installations, or the performing arts.
Despite the great progress experienced, we can only guess at the possibilities that lie ahead, we could say that we are still in the prehistory of a tool that increasingly offers more possibilities of application in the art world.
