Tradition, folklore and modernity merge in "+ Jota", an intimate encounter of Miguel Ángel Berna with the dance and music of his homeland. The Aragonese dancer reinterprets the jota from a more contemporary language without losing the essence of these dances.

Berna, protagonist on stage, interacts with four live musicians giving himself to the public in the most intimate and personal way. A show in which to evoke memories of the past and look to the future through adaptations and new musical creations based on the jotas of classic authors such as Liszt, Tárraga or Bretón and the music, songs and dances of Aragón.

Alberto Artigas, Guille Mata, Miguel Ángel Fraile and Josué Barrés sign these new creations. Mata reinterprets some variations of jota using electronic instruments. As for the classical jotas, a musical and choreographic reinterpretation of Liszt's jota has been chosen, where the choreography is devised by the dancer and choreographer Cesc Gelabert and the musical reinterpretations of the variations of the theme are in charge of Artigas.

Choreographies of tribute to the town of Belchite, to the harvest, old voices of Bujaraloz, a tour of the Monegros or a nod to the awakenings of the feast of Santa Quiteria de la Almolda complete this journey through the jota updated by Miguel Angel Berna.
