A dance piece for two performers and a drone, born from the fascination for the imaginary of science fiction.
This proposal draws from the fragmentary and visual narratives of comics, the universe of CGI (computer-generated imagery) and special effects, but also from the myths of the creation of the world, from Genesis, and from the most ancient philosophical intuitions: that "something more" that human beings have always sought. It is inspired by the images that, throughout history, have tried to make sense of our origin, to answer the question of where we come from and where we are going.
All this noise is a danced poem that traces a possible future; a song to the light that crosses time to shape us.
In collaboration with the Government of Navarra - DNA 2024.

QABALUM / LUCÍA BURGUETE / DIEGO PAZÓ

QABALUM is a contemporary dance collective founded in Pamplona in 2020, dedicated to stage creation and performance, teaching and cultural mediation. Integrated by Lucía Burguete and Diego Pazó, their work has been presented in festivals and theaters throughout Spain, as well as internationally.
In addition to their joint work as creators and trainers, both develop parallel careers as performers, collaborating with renowned choreographers and companies such as Daniel Abreu, Jesús Rubio, LED Silhouette, Antonio Ruz, Elías Aguirre or Laida Aldaz, among others.
His stage proposals are characterized by a clear commitment to the body as a narrative and poetic engine, by a choreographic craftsmanship that functions as a dramaturgy in itself, and by a rigorous attention to technique and stage presence. All this with the aim that the spectator, even if only for an instant, can enter into the infinite time of dance.
