Taught by: Carlos Bernal

If you want to develop your skills in playwriting, this is the ideal workshop. From the idea to the final text, here you will find the necessary advice to turn your idea into theater.

The writer and playwright Carlos Bernal shares his personal "toolbox" and accompanies you to learn playwriting techniques that will help you transform talent and inspiration into micro-theater pieces. At the base of this proposal you will find curiosity, poetry and writing.

Contents

1. SYNTHESIS. The synthesis is a fundamental aspect in theatrical art. In this brief genre, concreteness plays a determining role. Knot and denouement.

  2. TURNING POINTS. The unexpected, the different happens. Textual and non-textual surprises. Activates the interest of the plot to keep the audience's imagination active. What is said and what is suggested. The equivocal.

  3. GROWING INTEREST The more information, the more feelings. From the unusual subject to the growing curiosity. The tension of the dramaturgy.

4 WHO, WHAT, WHERE. The plot fable. The rhythm and style. The conflicts.
