Study of movement, gaze, rhythm, breathing and presence in relation to musicality.

Bach María Muñoz - Recording 2013 by Núria Font from malpelo on Vimeo.

Bach is an iconic piece in the history of European contemporary dance that is part of Mal Pelo's research path. One of the companies that has developed since 1989 a marked poetics of its own that, in addition to movement, incorporates elements from various disciplines. This work becomes a unique opportunity to enjoy the language of movement of María Muñoz accompanied by the interpretation of harpsichordist Justin Taylor.

Bach is a selection of preludes and fugues contained in The Well-Tempered Clavier composed by Johann Sebastian Bach in the 18th century, in which María Muñoz combines the dance of some preludes played live with the memory of some fugues danced in silence.
