THOUGHT IN DANCE. THE MYTH IN THE MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY
AROUND THE WORK OF GERMAINE ACOGNY
In her choreographic proposal, Acogny mixes the great female figures of Greek tragedy with the history of Africa.
This conference table seeks to contextualize and connect two of the central ideas that the choreographer works on: on the one hand, the current interpretations of the myth of Medea in the arts and, on the other hand, the creation and psychological recreation of the characters within a multicultural world where ancient myths dialogue with the present.
The session will be streamed live on our YouTube channel.
