Portuguese singer and composer, he was born in Lisbon on December 28, 1989. He studied Psychology at the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada de Lisboa but his passion for music revealed him as one of the great promises of the Portuguese and Spanish music scene. During the time he lived in the United States and in Barcelona, Salvador Sobral developed several musical projects among which stands out his participation in the indie-pop band "Noko Woi". The band's debut album deserved the invitation to one of the stages of the Sónar Festival in Barcelona in the 2014 edition. With "Amar pelos dois" he won in 2017 the Portuguese "Song Festival" becoming the representative of Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest. Sobral received the highest score in the history of the European contest rising as the first Portuguese representative winner of Eurovision. In January 2018 he receives in the Netherlands the EBBA Award for the best emerging musician. He has also been elected as "Personage of Culture 2017" by the audience of EURONEWS. |

Excuse me is the first studio album by Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral. It was released on August 2, 2016, reaching number 1 on the Portuguese albums chart in May 2017, following Sobral's victory at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. The album includes the singles "Excuse Me" and "Nem Eu", the latter being a cover of a 1952 song of the same name by Brazilian samba singer and composer Dorival Caymmi. The album has been co-produced by pianist Júlio Resende, Venezuelan composer Leonardo Aldrey, and Salvador himself. |

JÚLIO RESENDE He was trained in classical music but his interest in improvisation led him to study jazz. Portuguese musician, pianist and composer, he participated in several workshops where he worked with the best teachers of the Hot Clube, New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Berklee College of Music, and the Bill Evans Academy. |

ANDRÉ ROSINHA Self-taught, he began to play the electric bass until he began his musical studies at the Music School "Musicland". Later on, he enters the Music School of the National Conservatory where he begins his studies of double bass. He has participated in seminars and masterclasses with Dave Holland, Matt Penmann, Aaron Goldberg, Reuben Rogers, Greg Hutchinson, among others. |

BRUNO PEDROSO After being taught by established musicians in the Portuguese scene, he attended the Academia de Amadores de Música and the Escola de Jazz do Hot Clube de Portugal. He studied in New York with Leon Parker, Carl Allen, Jordi Rossy, Adam Nussbaum and Billy Hart. In 1995 he joined the teaching staff of the Escola de Jazz do Hot Clube de Portugal. Endowed with outstanding versatility and musicality, Bruno is one of the most sought after Portuguese jazz musicians. |
