The film and dance cycle is scheduled for January 29, 30 and 31. It will be presented by the critic of El País Roger Salas. Its aim is to bring the university audience and in general the general public, the world of dance from two points of view:
- The human component: To show the path that a dancer must go through, from the time he or she starts at a very young age until he or she retires. The effort involved in learning, the desire to excel and the dedication it takes to have a chance to devote himself professionally to it.
- The stage production: It is about showing the public the production process from the moment the piece is conceived until it is developed on stage by professional dancers. The design of the choreography, the costumes, the set, the lighting, the rehearsals, etc.
Roger SalasHe has been the dance and ballet critic of the newspaper El País for 28 years, with a brief pause when he participated in the adventure of the magazine El Globo; he was born in Holguín (Cuba) in 1950 and emigrated to Europe in 1982.
