Waiting for Godot

Godot is today more than a play, a classic of the twentieth century. It is part of the collective imagination. The strength, the humor, the poetry, the tenderness, the pain, the laughter transmitted by this play, a metaphor of the vulnerability and courage of the human being, are still valid. A play that Beckett defined as horribly comic. A show based on the humanity and comedy of its sensational actors, on words and space, on poetry and humor.

Duration: 110 min

Price: 24€ in Patio and 20€ in Amphitheater.

Two friends, almost brothers, an odd couple who while waiting, talk, argue, play, challenge each other, reconcile, love each other, repel each other. Another strange couple arrives, even stranger, the game diversifies. Godot does not arrive, but his emissary arrives.

A wealth of humanity in helpless, wandering, uncoupled characters, who remind us that human beings, even in very difficult situations, are capable of getting up or at least, as Estragon does at the end of the play, of putting on his pants again, which, in the absence of a belt, he ties with a humble rope.
