The Museo Universidad de Navarra completes the first phase of its digital museum project.
The Center has created a free downloadable app, and has published virtual tours and the collection online.
The Museo Universidad de Navarra has completed the first phase of its "MUN Digital" project, with the international publication of three platforms aimed at users interested in receiving online information through the website and a new application. Everything will be available for online consultation and free download, available in Spanish and English, in line with the Museum's educational mission, to facilitate the dissemination and learning of contemporary art.
The applicationThe main objectives of the application are to inform the interested user of the Museum's artistic program and to provide audio guides of all the exhibitions to accompany the visit to the Museum. It can be downloaded free of charge from any cell phone of the latest generation.
It has been developed with the collaboration of the interactive area of the company TF Editores, a company that has been collaborating with the University of Navarra for many years.

The Collection FinderOn the other hand, at museo.unav.edu you will be able to see the Museum's complete collection thanks to a powerful search engine. Classified by author, work, place, typology, technique, period, and theme, any researcher or user will be able to access our collection, thus strengthening the educational work of the contemporary art center. Both the App and the search engine have been developed by iTF Interactiva, the digital line of TF Editores, a publishing house specialized in art publications.
Virtual tours
Virtual tours of the Museum's exhibitions will also be available. This tool has been developed by Vooivo, a company formed by former students of the School of Engineers - Tecnun. From now on, people who have not been able to visit "North Africa. Ortiz Echagüe" and "El mundo al revés: el calotipo en España", exhibitions already removed, will be able to do it via web. The virtual visits are also of great interest to Friends of the Museum who do not live in Pamplona, as well as to people from other cities and countries interested in seeing the exhibitions.
The digital project will continue to be developed for at least two more years.
