The third promotion of the Master in Curatorial Studies at the Museo Universidad de Navarra began the course this Thursday, with a welcome day and the first on-site classes. In total, there are 20 students from 9 countries: Spain, United States, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Cuba, Peru, Argentina and Mexico. Some students, who have delayed their trip to Spain for a few weeks due to the pandemic, have followed the first sessions remotely.

The master's degree is the only official postgraduate course in Spain for the training of curators and is in line with the Museum's teaching vocation. Therefore, it offers a theoretical-practical training based on the philosophy of learning by doing and favored by the interrelation between the Museum and the other centers and faculties of the University of Navarra. Thus, students have the opportunity to participate in the intense intellectual environment of the academic center and a faculty made up of experts and curators of the highest level. Together with the curriculum, it guarantees the international projection of the students.

This course will be taught by Gabriel Pérez Barreiro, Vicente Todolí, Tania Pardo, Anna Maria Guasch, Sergio Rubira, Nuria Enguita, Gerardo Mosquera, Daniel Vega, Pablo Berástegui and Daniel Canogar, among other professionals. The postgraduate course lasts one year and includes professional internships in museums and art centers around the world.
