The composer premiered in October the show Siempre/Todavía. Ópera sin voces with the National Design Award (1989) Alberto Corazón and the National Music Award (2013) Juan Carlos Garvayo.

Alfredo Aracil, in the Composition category, has been awarded the 2015 National Music Prize. The prize, awarded annually by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, is endowed with 30,000 euros. The jury has decided to propose, by majority, the Prize to Alfredo Aracil Ávila,"for his extensive creative career at the highest international level; for his ability to combine extreme novelty with the most subtle poetic expression, and for the great originality of his sound proposals, which approach other arts".
Siempre/Todavía. Ópera sin voces is his latest musical creation accompanied by the illustrations of Alberto Corazón, National Design Award (1989) and performed for solo piano by Juan Carlos Garvayo, National Music Award (2013).
