130 high school students participate in Drawing Day at the Museum
The Pamplona artist Naroa Armendariz has been in charge of giving the workshop as part of the 'Architecture Week' program.
130 high school students from schools in Navarra and the Basque Country participated today in the 'Drawing Day' with a session given by the Pamplona artist Naroa Armendariz at Museo Universidad de Navarra, the first to be held in the workshop area.
The activity, which lasted about three hours, began with a brief theoretical session on the relationship between architecture and art given by the artist, which was followed by the students' drawing practice. In it, the participants had to form teams to create an artistic work as a whole through the particular design of each one of them.
The 'Drawing Day' has thus celebrated its third date in Navarra after two editions in which the young draftsmen were taught by the painter and sculptor Antonio López. The activity is part of the 'Architecture Week' program organized by the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and the Official Basque-Navarre College of Architects.
The schools participating in the day were San Cernin, Nuestra Señora del Huerto, IES Navarro Villoslada (Navarra) and Colegio Urdaneta (Basque Country).
