The artist Óscar Mariné gives a guided tour to Design students through his exhibition 'Óscar Mariné Big Bang'.
This activity followed the presentation of the artist's catalog at the Museum.
First and second year students of the Degree in Design of the School of Architecture had the opportunity to tour the exhibition Óscar Mariné Big Bangby the artist himself, which is on display until March 4 in the Museo Universidad de Navarra.
On the occasion of the presentation of the catalog that collects the work of his exhibition, the students were able to learn about the professional career of the artist, National Design Award 2010. Mariné explained how his apprenticeship was based on observation, training in the film studios where his father, Juan Mariné, worked. In this way, through experience and learning through music and magazines, he has distinguished himself as an artist and graphic designer.
On this idea, Mariné insisted to the students on the importance of slow learning: "Designing is like writing, it takes time to have authorship, criteria, to know how to handle the language correctly, the technique, the use of technology... it is an experience that never ends".
The artist also had the opportunity to visit the school's facilities, accompanied by its director, Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val, and some of the teachers.
