Entre bobos anda el juego', a production of the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico and Noviembre Teatro, opens the new edition of 'Clásicos en el Museo'.

As a novelty, all performances will be preceded by a free meeting with an expert who will offer the audience the keys to the play and the author.

The Museo Universidad de Navarra is celebrating this month a new edition of Classics at the Museumwhich offers a look at the theater of the Golden Age from the current scene. On Saturday 19, at 7:30 p.m., the series will be opened by Entre bobos anda el juegoa play by Rojas Zorrilla produced by the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico and Noviembre Teatro, directed by Eduardo Vasco. The play tells the story of two lovers who manage to find each other despite the unreasonableness that surrounds them. Tickets are 24 and 18 euros.

As a novelty, this year all the performances of the series will be preceded by a meeting with an expert on the work, who will comment on its key points. Felipe Pedraza, Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, will lead the first session. In this edition, works are presented both in the Theater and in exhibition halls and intensifies its collaboration with the GRISO (Grupo de Investigación del Siglo de Oro) of the University of Navarra.

LOPE, FROM A FEMALE POINT OF VIEW

Also on Saturday 19, at 12 noon, there will be a literary wine tasting, titled Better out with winewhich will relate common aspects between theater and the presence of wine in the literature of the Golden Age, in collaboration with the Denomination of Origin Wines of Navarra.

The series will continue on Friday 25, at 12:00 noon, with the lecture Understanding and seeing theaterby editor andcultural journalistLiz Perales. She will discuss some of the keys to see and understand what happens when the curtain rises, based on her professional experience.

At 7:30 p.m., the following will be performed Querella de Lope y las mujeresa current text by Yolanda Pallín that brings the spectator closer to the feminine cosmos of the most recognized characters of the famous playwright. Actress Carolina Calema will star in a monologue that questions some of the values conveyed by Lope de Vega 's works in relation to the role of women, which, although very advanced for the time, could not but be framed in the social order of the time. One hour before, Carlos Mata, from the Grupo de Investigación del Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra will comment on the keys to the play.

CALDERÓN'S VERSE, IN AN ORIGINAL FORMAT

On Saturday 26th, at 7:30 p.m., the following will be staged No hay burlas con el amor by Calderón de la Barca, a performance with actors manipulating giant puppets, which will be commented one hour before by Carlos Mata. It is an original scenic proposal that brings verse closer to the public while respecting the metrics and rhythm with which Calderón endowed this hilarious love comedy. The specialist in classical verse Karmele Aranburu participates as an actress and has also directed the verse.

The series will end on October 30 with the dramatized reading of Of those who enter without paying in the comedya proposal with direction and dramaturgy by Liuba Cid that will bring short plays to the exhibition rooms of the Museum, at 7:30 p.m. Plays by great authors such as Calderón, Lope de Vega, Cervantes, Lope de Rueda or Quiñones de Benavente will be performed. That morning, at 12 noon, there will be a round table moderated by Liuba Cid with the participation of professors Ignacio Arellano and Carlos Mata, from GRISO.
