The ICS, accredited by the Navarre Council of Culture as a project of social interest and object of patronage

It has obtained the MECNA seal within the framework of the Ley Foral de Mecenazgo Cultural (Foral Law of Cultural Patronage).

The Culture and Society Institute (ICS) has been accredited by the Navarre Council of Culture with the seal of social interest MECNAThis seal declares it to be of social interest and object of patronage according to the Ley Foral de Mecenazgo Cultural (Regional Law of Cultural Patronage).

The Official Gazette of Navarra (BON) published in its January 16 edition the list of the 90 accredited cultural projects and activities. Of these, 32 are cultural projects and activities, and 58 are programs-types of cultural projects or activities. At the University of Navarra, the following have also received recognition Library, Cultural Activities and the Museum.

In its evaluation, the Council took into account, among other criteria: the social relevance of the project or activity; the impact on cultural, tangible and intangible heritage; linguistic diversity; the promotion of artistic creation; support for new creators; the relationship with innovative languages, training, participation, dissemination, audience creation; the development of ICTs and promotion abroad; and the relationship between the budget and the impact generated by the project or activity.

Tax advantages for sponsors

Thanks to the accreditation, ICS patrons will be able to benefit from important tax advantages. Specifically, individuals will obtain a deduction in their personal income tax liability of 80% on the first 150 euros contributed and 40% on the rest. Companies will obtain a deduction of the amount in the taxable base of the Corporate Tax (in general, donations are not deductible expenses) and a deduction of 30% of the net quota in the first 300 euros and 20% in the following ones.
