More than 16,000 people followed the Museum's broadcast on International Museum Day and nearly 4,000 visits were made to the exhibitions.

The Museum live-streamed what its day-to-day life is like via Facebook Live and Instagram Stories and held open houses through Sunday.

The Museo Universidad de Navarra celebrated International Museum Day on Friday with a live broadcast of the day, via Facebook Live, which was followed by 16,132 people, and could also be followed via Instagram Stories.

In this special broadcast, which was added to the theme of Hyperconnected Museums the public was able to learn about the day-to-day life of the Museum from the inside. The center also held an open day from Saturday to Sunday to showcase its exhibitions. A total of 3,918 visits were recorded.

Thus, at the beginning of this Museum LiveThe audience received a message from Jaime García del Barrio, general director of the Museum, who expressed his satisfaction for the award obtained at the EMYA Awards in Warsaw and encouraged them to participate in the activities of this celebration. Afterwards, Teresa Lasheras, head of the Performing Arts Department, showed how a staging is carried out in the Theater.

Another of the most followed moments of the telecast was the transfer of the pieces of the exhibition In Time by Carlos Cánovas, which will be inaugurated at the ICO Museum in Madrid on May 30. Ignacio Miguéliz, head of the Curatorial and Exhibitions area, explained how the loans are made and how to transport the works safely, while the artist himself explained the keys to the exhibition.

During the day, guided visits were made to the Museum's collection, as well as to new exhibitions such as Bleda' s Geography of Time and Rosa and Picasso. Le tricorne, by Pablo Picasso. It was also possible to learn more about the building, the work of Rafael Moneo, in a special visit conducted in English, as well as the store, the restaurant and the program Musea y viaja! promoted by the Government of Navarra.

There was also an engraving workshop, carried out by the Education area, which was very well received by the students of the University of Navarra Campus and the general public. The session closed with a presentation of the Master in Curatorial Studies, which will begin in October, and a visit to the terrace.

During the weekend, as part of the open day, there were also guided tours of the exhibitions and the Collection, in the morning and afternoon.
