The Museum is constituted as a new center of the University. Its mission is focused on promoting the cultural and artistic activity of the University, in dialogue with the current creative scene, through museum activities, presentations of the collections, public programs and events. It will be a channel for training and research on campus and will seek to offer a cultural service to Navarrese society. In addition, it will collaborate with the other centers of the University in the promotion of teaching and research on art in its different manifestations.

A board of directors has been formed to govern the company, which will be composed of four directors.

General Councilor - Jaime García del Barrio
The main function of the General Councilor is to guide, supervise and stimulate the Museum's activities. In addition, he heads the Board of Directors and oversees the execution of its agreements together with the other members of the Board.

Museum Director - Miguel López-Remiro
Directs and represents the Museum, manages the collection and artistic programming, as well as the research and dissemination strategy.

Administrator - Fernando de la Puente
Serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors. Responsible for the economic administration of the Museum, maintenance, general services, security and operations management.

Director of Communication and Development - Elisa Montserrat
Responsible for the Museum's image, strategic communication and the lines of attracting audiences and sponsorship.
