More than 26,000 people visit the Museum during its first month of open doors
The Museo Universidad de Navarra has just celebrated its first month of life and during this time it has been visited by 26,145 people. Of these, only 19% have been students and professionals from the University.
25 students have been in charge of the guided tours. A total of 133 tours were conducted, which were enjoyed by 3,915 people, 103 associations and five schools.
In addition, the family workshops, which began last February 7, have been full every weekend. Now, the Museum is working to launch a new educational program. "El Museo de los peques" will bring to the children's schools several artistic activities that will help develop creativity, the emotional world, personal initiative and communication skills.
Cartographies of MusicIn the area of the performing arts, the next activity programmed by the Museum is the first edition of the "Cartographies of Music" series. The activity, which will be annual, will include three concerts and a film marathon this year. The main performance will be given by the pianist Joaquín Achúcarro on March 5.
For the curatorial area, the next milestone will be Javier Vallhonrat's anthological exhibition, which will open on April 26, when the current shows, "North Africa, by Ortiz Echagüe", and "The world upside down: the calotype in Spain", will be withdrawn.
